Pastor Chan Keng Aik is married to Sister Liew Sook Ting. He was born in Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia, and grew up in a third-generation Christian family. Although raised in church, he came to a personal faith in Christ at the age of 16. A year later, he responded to God’s call during a missions conference at Presyterian Saving Grace Church Batu Pahat, offering his life to be used by the Lord.
After completing secondary school, Pastor Keng Aik moved to Singapore to pursue a Diploma in Culinary Arts, gaining practical experience in 3 local French restaurants. In 2011, he joined SLC as a Pastoral Assistant, where he began serving and discerning God’s calling more clearly.
In 2020, he entered Trinity Theological College for theological training. He graduated with a Bachelor of Divinity in 2023 and returned to SLC in June the same year to serve as a Pastor, beginning his journey in pastoral ministry.

Pastor Qing Yi enjoys running, reading, and watching anime, TV dramas, and films. He practices the “Jesus Prayer” as a regular spiritual discipline, reminding himself to live daily under God’s mercy.
